Hi,

Ive had my 2000 Punto Sporting for 7-8 months now with only minor problems. But recently its been kangarooing wich is rather annoying!

Its worse when its cold but for example im driving down a road and pull out at a roundabout in 2nd, I keep it in this gear and put my foot down to pull out but it jumps around gathering speed......... until i reach say 20mph.

It also does it when im travelling at 45mph and try to overtake, its slow but i end up kangarooing past slowly.

Any ideas? could it possibly be the spark plugs or the HT leads?

Any imput will be greatly appreciated.

with something like this allways check the cheap things first ie air filter and sparkplugs. also maybe ht leads and then coil packs.

when was last service ?

The last service was when I bought it from the dealer. Around End or Feb 06.....

have same problem mine in the garage at the moment, only seems to do it tho when it is wet or when its cold, or both. Hopefuly this service has fixed it. will post.

Could be the HT leads or Coil Packs maybe try resettin the ECU..

All sorted.... I changed the spark plugs and all was OK... again is was somthing & nothing...
