You know the Mk2.5 which was made 'ugly' compared to the Mk2 - on the back of the 3 door they added little red extensions to the bottom of the back lights on the hatchback just under the back window. Can these be taken off - they are just silly reflectors, there are some already on the back bumper so why add more? The MK2 rear hatch looked much neater with the original lamps and small Fiat badge rather than the big round one.
These reflector things annoy me though, I hope they are just stuck on and the hatch panel isn't recessed to accept them.
By the way I have a Panda but looking to buy MK2.5 as it's too small - had a MK2 but hate the restyle.

Mk2 boot isn't as wide as the mk2.5, to get this problem sorted the recesses would have to be smoothed - personally i think it is much better with the boot reflectors

i never knew that, visually they look the same width - there cant be that much difference

i have seen a 2.5 with a smooth boot, i just assumed it was swapped

The mk2.5 has a recess and then also a clip in the middle where the reflecter clips into as well as the self adhesive, you can get mk2 tailgates that fit the mk2.5 i think

Well the back end is identical apart from the reflectors, the bumper styling and the light colours so a Mk2 tailgate should fit straight on.
