Airbag warning light coming on for a brief second anyone any ideas why.......

had this before, does it come on for a split second then go off again? how often does it do this?

mine did it a couple of times, nothing to be worried about just a drop in voltage i think :chin:

Happens from time to time just a brief flash then off again.

could be if you have breaked hard, get it checked out at dealer

I've been having the same issue with the airbag warning light coming on in my MK 2 Punto ELX, though mine stays on all the time.

I got the garage to check it when I got it MOT'd in June. They couldn't find any problems and reset the light. Then about a month ago, the light came back on again.

This is a bit annoying as it cost me to get it checked. I don't want to pay out again if it's just going to come back on.

Anyone got any ideas?

I've had a smiliar thing with it randomly going on and off. I'll get mine checked when it is serviced next month.
