Evening,

In the endless quest to shut the variator up, I've decided to change the oil.
Could someone please tell me where the oil filter is located? (I am replacing that aswell)
This will be my first oil change in the car. I am planning on doing it in a garage, yet I still want to do it myself.

If it is possible, a picture will help best

On my bravo HLX from what i remeber it was on the front underside of the engine. Jack the front of the car up and on the engine tray there is a pannel which you remove to gain access. Ive got a punto HGT now and im sure the engines use the same layout..

Its at the front as said, to the left. You don't need to jack it up though and make sure you flush it first.
