I have got a rev counter which will replace my clock (Cheers Matt68) but there is no wires on it so i dont have a clue how to wire it up.

i have looked at the tutorial on puntoforum but i still dont see where to connect the wires to the rev counter

any help would be gr8

cheers

Well when i removed it, i just undid the 3 little bolts on the back which protruded through the back of the circuit board. Obviously thats where the circuit is but i dont know whether the board is the same in other model puntos tho it is in clios! One way to find out is fit it and put your foot on the accelorator(y) !
Cant believe youve got it already, i only posted it at dinner time yesterday:eek:

lol yer it came next day ... paypal account will be sorted so i will send money 2moro m8.

i wud do it now but i passed my drivin test yesterday so am drivin everywhere atm :p:p:p

where do i connect the wire to the rev counter though? i no its from the blue wire off the ECU but how do i connect that to the rev counter?

cheers

No,no,no,no,no, What i was saying was ,will it not fit where the clock used to be? If it does ,push the 3 threaded little bars through the holes in the back and tighten up the 3 little nuts to keep it on the I.P.( instrument panel). Then put all the plugs back into the back of the I.P. turn the ignition on and hopefully the circuit should be there to feed the rev counter.

but if i do that surely i wont have connected the all blue wire to it so it wont know what to do?
