Im sure most GT drivers havent got any maxpower air filters?!

Anyway its probably a bolt on, so remove the massive air box so your left with a round metal thing which is the Tb housing thing. You'll need to undo the to big brass colourd screws that held your old air box on. Then plonk the maxpower filter on that, using the rubber inserts to make a tight fit (chances are you wont need any) then tighten the jubile clip up. (not to tight otherwise you will find it keeps popping off, tight enough so that when you try to wobble it a little bit it stays secure) Just a rough guide, i just woke up after a night out, sorry!

does it have a list of applications or is it univertsal?
looks to me thats designed to fit on an AFM which your 60 engine doesnt have
as said remove the entire filter box(has fiat fuel injection on it)and if it fits it will fit around the TB where the OE housing fitted.
however that filter looks the wrong type

they aint good air filter man, i have heard the focus ones are realli good in mk1 puntos but they do need 2 be bolted on because its alot bigger

Sorry, but I have to disagree. These filters are quite good. Only problem is that they aren't an induction kit. But with a little effort they can be turned into one. What is needed is some induction pipe and a bop.

Yeh, there not terrible for the price. You get a lot larger surface area for the air to be taken in. The main issue is the location, it is probably the hottest part of the engine bay air temp wise. If you can get hold of some samcos or similar to make a 'gsr' or 'focus' style induction type that would be your best bet. Otherwise, large cold air feed (i used aluminum flexiable ducting 3'') and a heat sheild round the front nr rocker cover.

serious in what?

Yes i was looking fot the piping from the throttle body down to the front bumper, where the filter would be, why?

Hey dave, a heat shield round the front and near the rocker cover, how would you achieve this? looking to do it to mine (Im guessing this would work for K & N as well). Any pics to show? (wanna do it right)
