I have read through some existing threads with regards to immobiliser /ecu problems but haven't come across a similar fault that has appeared on my punto.
when the ignition is turned on the code light, battery light and oil light flicker, there is a relay under the black shield at rear of engine which is chattering and the rev counter bounces up and down?
any suggestions would be most welcome
whilst waiting for a reply i have disconnected the battery.

one other thing i noticed the injector light does not illuminate when the ignition is turned on and the other lights flicker?

i have just re-connected the battery and the car has started.

if this problem persisits is it possible to remove the immobiliser from the ignition circuit?

could have been a flat batt did car start when lights were flashing
