yeah it's a bit of a mission. You can pull it off with brute force apparently. Check teh styling section I think.

My Punto is 10 days old (make 2004), somewhere is mk2b, somewhere mk3. I dont wont to brake origigi knob, and than cant install new knob, but I can not see is new knob ok without removing orgigi. [?]

the knob is glued on, you won't break it but you'll have to glue it on if you want to fit the original again. knobs that fit peugoet/citroen should fit the Punto, it did mine anyway
