Hi....I ve posted this on the security section too, but no replies as yet. I ve recently installed a DIYGTI alarm I bought off ebay. The alarm has been fitted with no problems, and I ve managed to link it to the indicators. The problem I m having is linking the new remote central locking to the existing central locking. I ve looked at the wiring diagram on the forum, and after trying to connect the wires I m still having problems.

The wires I have for the remote central locking are-
White- (Locking)
White/Black-(Unlock)
Yellow- (Earth)
Yellow/Black- (Earth)
Orange
Orange/Black

(The instruction have a pair of scissors next to orange, and orange/black, so i m assuming these aren't used in the circuit)

If anyone knows anything about this could they post back, as its driving me mad!!!
Thanks

The problem I m having is that when I wire up the wires from the alarm to the ones in the car, when I m pressing the button to lock the car, only the alarm arms and the indicators blink, rather than the alarm arming, the indicators blink, and the doors locking all at once. As I said I ve followed the wiring guide in the security section in the forum, as well as the ones I ve posted here. If you can see where I m going wrong then point it out, as it starting to do my head in!!!lol!

If you mean the Grey and Yellow wires that are behind the door cards just below the central locking motor then yes, but it was very hard to get the wire to stay in, and it was quite hard to get to. However if the grey and yellow wires come into the fusebox in the car then I ve not tried this as the wiring guide on the forum said to wire to white (from the alarm) to white/black (in the car) to lock, and white/black (from the alarm) to light blue/black (in the car) to unlock, and that they were located on the black 40 pin connector in the fusebox.

Hi....just had a look at the alarm system again, the main problem is which wires I need to wire to, and where they are loacted! If someone can tell me this then I should be away!!!

Thanks

Cool...so just to be clear its the group of wires that go out of the drivers door, through the grommit, and it the yellow and grey ones I wanna connect to!I m assuming Yellow locks, and Grey unlocks!!!

Just linked the central locking wires from the alarm, to the yellow and grey wires, and now the alarm doesn't work. Any ideas????
