Here's an idea, take a Punto 60S, get an industrial sized shoe horn, acquire a 2.5 V6 from a totalled Alfa 156 & use said shoe horn to install Alfa V6 into Punto. It'll cost money it'll be a pain to install but sure as hell be fun once completed, the question is is there any hope of this happening? Or is the Alfa engine simply too big?

You could do it if you spent stupid money on it, it would handle like a boat though.

Twas just a thought I had in my head... I'm so indecisive and have too many ideas :tempt:

Anything is possible with a few sleepless nights and several hundred cans of beer later. Just take for example Beardy off of the corsa sport website, he managed to squeeze a 3.0 engine into a Corsa B! On top of that he has plans for a turbo. You want a guy who can help you with a crzy conversion he is the guy. Im sure someone on here must have tried soemthing crazy like this before. Just go for it, get several credit cards use one for the carryouts and beer and the others for custom parts. Would be mental to just say you had a v6 in a punto! who cares if it couldnt handle, the point is you have done the seemingly impossible, big respect to whoever can pull this off.
