Hi there,

Lost week I bought a second hand Punto (2000). I had no instructionmanual with it, but they will send it to me soon.
Anyway, I just drove on the highway and I received a beep with a symbol that looks like a lamp with an exclamation symbol ( ! ) in it (it's next to the handbreak symbol). It was an orange symbol and disappeared a couple of seconds later.
What is the meaning of this symbol? Should I worry about it?

Is there someone with a short explanation of all the symbols so I can refer to it during the time I wait for the manual?

From what you describe it sounds like the bulb failure warning light,check all your sidelights(including number plate lights)are working & your stop lights.

I checked the lights and they seems to be okay. I will keep an eye on the board to see when the symbol comes back, because it disappeared already.

by the way does someone has the manual in pdf?

The 2 small front sidelights are bad for not working (give them a thump & they start working again) also poor contact on the rear brake bulb connectors.

hmm got the error again for a couple of seconds. Strangest thing is I can't place the problem...
I will call the fiatdealer tomorrow where I bought the car.
