my 2000 hgt keeps stallin when i stop. it only happens when th car is warm & when i come 2 a complete stop. just had a new exhaust fitted any ideas

is the exhaust a aftermarket one m8 eg: sports exhaust.

no its from fiat its the only place i could get 1

o step dads hgt does it since he changed the exhaust,could be numerouse things then tbh

it only started on sat. iv had the car 2 weeks after 3 days the back box fell off had it back on fri now this. goin in2 th garage again on fri:bang:

can any1 tell me th hot and cold idle speeds for a hgt ? my mate thinks that this is th problem( too low)

My hgt was'nt stalling but it was idling rough and hard to start sometimes, all i done was clean the throttle body out as they usually sludge up after a while.

Idles around 1000 never noticed any difference hot or cold, slight auto reving some days thats all.

mine idles around 1000 on startup, when its warmed up it idles around 800.

Mine kept stalling on me when i came to a stop after i changed the induction kit, after a few days it settled down.

its been like it 4 a week now did urs take that long 2 sort its self out?

sheez thats a long time, i took about 2-3 days. i had to keep the revs up when coming to a stand still otherwise it would cut out.

Maybe a sensor? Dave is pretty good with these things, maybe he knows.

its fixed th garage found nothing wrong suggested redex & it worked
