Was nice and sunny this afternoon, so I decided that paint would dry quickly... I'm pretty pleased with the end result... what you reckon?

hmm typically constructive - you need a car

looking good, i did mine in the same colour that i've done the interior - black metallic looks good but ain't as good as striking as yours god bless this paint drying weather!

wonder how much a hose from forge would cost what is the OD for the filter and the bob (38mm iirc)

SFS to elbow pipes that you could use.not too pricey IIRC

yeah the diameter of the bob is 38mm. if you get a 40mm TB you may need to go for a custom bob á-la bushboy... (made by Jordan - punto_jr_sx75)

The shocking truth is that my custom kit was made with about £3 worth of materials, and gives a nice sound. That is all I wanted. It seems to pull a bit better but that's probably the "nice noise makes you think its going faster" placebo

why would I need one? there is plenty of cold air coming from the "big gaping hole" behind the battery..

well i would still say its warm air, sure probably coldest area in the engine bay but its still hot under there lol.

id fit a cold air feedm cos it kinda forces air into it too.

there's no need at the moment as it works fine. it's not exactly going to make it much faster. all energy is used up getting waste gases out... may think about cold air feed after fitting exhaust (next year lol) and then I'll speak to Oldschool about the benefits of CAF's

the air through the CAF is only gonna be as cool as the ambient air temp anyway.

yea lol, no point messing iwth it until it needs to be mesed with or its broke, unless you get bored and decide to dismantle it all lol

i cant rele do much in performance wise to my engine as its a diesel lol

i dont rele mind, i can get an exhaust for it but it may not do much, mite aswell get it all remapped n wot not....

You can take your hot air feed adaptor thingy off can't you with the two manifold bolts? That would clean it up a bit.
