i wanna buy this induction kit thats going well cheap its for a 16v 1.2 punto and im pritty sure mines a 1.2 8v punto so who out there can tell me if it will work or not?????????????
easiest way to check for sure is go on the makers site and compare part no's though i would say its unlikely but it may just need some fettleing.
can you try before you buy?
i cant remember the make and i dunno if its a straight fit hes just got a boxed kit with a label on it saying
induction kit for 1.2 16v fiat punto
£20 to clear
well it wont fit, cos on the 16 it connects to the pipe at the front of the engine not bolt onto of the tb, i sold my punto k&n for 5 quid on ebay, so look
im selling a k&n panel filter and drilled airbox and im in southend, you could probably fit em and take it for a spin and see if you like it then.

If its a pipercross the answer is sort of Leave the airbox on but remove stanard filter element. Cut a section off that awful black silencer rubber that comes to the drivers side of the engine. Use this as a packer and jubilee clip it to the air intake on the filter. Job done. The ridiculous thing is it actully makes a big difference (the original airbox has become a plenum chamber) the car is more driveable - farcical really.
