what you think of this punto elx for £600 need new bonnet,lights and bumper is it worth it?

if there is no damage to the radiator etc then it's a bargin.

theres no radiator damage and it was an auction and i won it for £760 not £600 but i still think its a bargin

:S I wouldn't have but.. would have saved £200 on just buying a normal one, damaged reparied cars usually sell for less too. not a bad project though

for a 2001 and a 1.2 8v (?, an ELX JTD WOULD be well worth it) £600 is about right,

you'll have to replace:-0
bonnet,
right wing,
left wing may straighten
bumper
slam panel (often hard to find a good one, AND they are glued in so have to be new or welded back in )
pair of lights and brackets.
maybe the front part of undertray thing

I'd say if you could find a stolen recoved or rear ended black mk2 then maybe you could do it all for £200-£250?

was it recorded on insurance as being crashed then written off or something? if it was then your premium would maybe be higher than a normal car (insurance co's are anal) and its resale will be affected
