I am looking into changing my centre console in my 2005 active sport model - basically I am looking for a 2005 HGT centre console (the one without the cup holders - shown in pic below) - if anyone has any information on where I may be able to get one of these (new or used) I would be most gratefull.

lmao, are they anything like the mk1 centre consoles (GT models) coz apparently there rare too, but every1 seems to have them in their mk1 puntos (including me :D )

P.S they look rele good sprayed another color. im gonna do the draws etc of mine siver to go with the inside.

The one in picture has standard A/C so will not be a 2005 as they have dual zone climate so you will probably want an earlier type
 
is tht the only diffrence coz i fink ive seen one in a mates car tht not got drinks holders in em :confused:
 
there apparently rele rare n the ppl that have em dont like to get rid of em

expect to pay a small bomb for one unless ur the luckyest guy round n can get one from the scrappy, but good luck :D

hmmm im not sure of the part number, you may be able to google it, i havent tried yet

most of the centre consoles are like goldust thou, mine was hard to get hold of.

im sure sum1 on the forum may be able to keep their eyes out for ya

sorry dont know the part number, i think fiat probably have a waiting list of people after one so they give u a ticket number and tell u when someones wriiten off there hgt/sporting and have donated the centre console :p :D
just call in i guess and see what the price is, if you do manage to get a quote make sure u get the quote with the part that joins the gear box with the handbrake as i think (cant be too sure) this is a seperate piece or something like that. Also let us know how u get on and what price they quoted :eek: cheers
 
yer make sure u know what your getting

sum 1 i know brought a mk1 punto centre console not me) and the handbrake bit was missing so they are now hunting for just the handbrake bit, which no one is gonna sell just that bit coz its kinda a set rele

ooo do u ave to be careful bout the model too?

with the mk1 there was only 1 centre console so i bet mk2 are ever rarer than i thought to get hold of the right model
 
From what I remember the Sporting in the mk2 and the Active Sport in the 2b have the silver centre console but it is the same design as the rest of the models where as the HGT is wider at the bottem where the CD stacker goes and it looses the cup holds.

Think the mk1 was quite simply either a normal centre console found in every model other than the GT and then the GT centre console which wrapped around the bottom of the gear gaitor etc.
 
yea there was only 1 diffrence, the colors of em

there are 2 diffrent shades that you can get to go with the 2 diffrent shades of dashboard.

my friend has a punto 1.2 and i have the console wjich is the same color as her andd she has the same color as mine, so we doing a swap one day so it all matches :slayer:

Im now confused, as the HGT in the 2b version has air con as standard i think :confused: so im just searching for the sporting version of the mk2 to be on the safe side (y)
