Hi All,

I'm not quite sure if anyone is going to be able to help me with this, but this is what I'm looking to do.

I have a TomTom GO 700 and want to create a permanent docking kit for it. I have a Punto 60SX 1997 model.

Does anyone know anybody that has done a similar task, or can anyone suggest an ideal place where I might be able to put the mounting kit?

I was thinking about taking out some of the Interior fans so I would have somewhere to install the kit, but if I can find somewhere else to put it, that would be ideal.

I'd personally leave it removable. If it's perm then it's always on show and that creates a very tempting item to steal for car thieves.

I had planned of making the installation discrete, well as discrete as possible ;-)

I know someone who has done a custom installation and basically converted an air freshener to hide the mount interface, looks good.

i wouldnt risk cutting into the interior because its not good if you mess it up
