I don't expect anyone will know this but i'm pretty stuck tbh,

Basically i recently bent the rear beam on my hgt after one of my rear tyres blew out. So i got a new rear beam from a scrap yard and as you can imagine everything was still attached to the rear beam as they never unbolt anything especially if they can just cut it off. So I stripped it down and because they had cut the ends off the abs sensors i had to smash them out as they where corroded in, i've then changed the rear beams over, everything was fine untill i took it out for a run when the tcs went ape s*it, so i turned off the tcs and carried on and the abs light came on. Today both lights are staying on permanently even after disconnecting the battery so i guess it has logged a fault code which the main dealer will have to reset, not a problem but to be on the safe side i thought i'd check the rear abs sensors to see if they were dirty etc. When i looked at them they where both about 4-5cms away from the ring on the hub and my punto manual says the tolerance is 0.1-0.7mm gap? So what i need to know is are the rear abs sensors different lenghts on diffrent years of hgt? Of course if i go into a fiat dealer and ask they won't know and will ask for my chassis number which will just show up the sensors i've already got.:bang:

This could help someone though i doubt it, theres two different sensors and one is longer than the other, theres three diffrent rear beams, one works with the longer abs sensors only and the other two will only work with the shorter sensors.

Fiat must of had money to burn, why three different rear beams? Madness.

When i put the right sensors on and drove it down the road the abs and tcs lights went out, so its all working but its probaly logged the fault in the memory.
