how do i go about removing my plates? i got sum carbon borders for mi plates and need to remove em but the screws tht are holding em on have no grooves or owt for a screwdriver to go into em

fiat punto btw

You should'nt have a prob here if its not screwed then id be worried. Like Custard said pop the little covers hiding the screws & then they should be there unless they nailed or glued it down. ;)

hi just done it, i was wanting to remove em to put sum nice surrounds on the plates lol u prob dont like them faz!!! :D

there was like plastic surounding the screws which needed to be broken off so i could turn the screws

done it now neways. thanks

the surrounds look ace, carbon fibre look, shiny! :p

Yeh im not too keen on numberplate surrounds but hey what can i say i have chrome ones from the previous owner! :D

yer i thought it may look a mess so i got sum new ones that say lacey punto on the bottom of em (shiny!)

i just need to fit em on now without screwing them in, i got sum sticky pads but im not too sure bout them being just stuck on, the surrounds are just stuck on as it is

is it worth making new holes for the surrounds then sticking the plate on with the pads or is it not safe to drill more holes for the surrounds?

oh and btw...
