General mk2 hedlight bulb

ok head light full beam bulb has just blown so figured time to get some better ones. does anyone recomend a brighter bulb that is safe in mk2 plastic head lights as i head some one say that using to powerfull bulbs in plastic fronted lights can effect the plastic. also what conection do i need ?? h1 h4 h7 ???? and as the car uses diff bulbs for dip and full beam unlike my last car do you normlay just change the full beam ones?? or do people bother making dip beam bulbs brighter ???

The ring ultra xenon i have say on the packet that they are safe for plastic headlamps.

try www.powerbulbs.com - excellent, quick service. I bought Phillips 'premium' bulbs (30% more light, blah, blah, blah...) and I'd say they are about 5-10% better on Dip and 10-15% better on Main Beam.

has anybody tried the Osram SilverStar lights, by the way which type H4, H7 etc for a MkII.

Yes they are good ive tried a few others and the ring are the best yet, i live in the sticks with no street lights couldnot hardly see with other bulbs now i have the ring ultra xenon i have no proublem.

well looks like im after ring xenon as i live in sticks also no street lights. no just need to know fitment h1 h4 or h7 ??? any one know ?? cheers in advance
