Its the mk1, basic 1.2 16v sporting at the mo, '99 S reg..i wana make my baby look gorgeous! Only have a k&n on at the mo and sum minor interior extra, like gaitors, neons (etc..) and my bass box in the boot..aiming to make the exterior more of a head turner now!

I reckon the Combat kit rear with Cadamuro elsewhere minus retarded eyebrows is the way forward.

If I get my mk2 as planned Cadamuro will be the only kit manufacturer considered. Italian sex all the way baby, oh yeah! [8D]

I've checked out the links you gave me jonnyboy, think i might go for the combat kit,n a headlamp conversion probs...nebody know where i car get a badboy bonnet done for a decent price??

The wheels thing. 17s are so expensive, and as your rightly say so are the tyres. They look great on some Puntos (James Hans' black Khans on his black GT) but I think on others (not mentioning any names!) they look a little OTT.

They're also going to affect your performance a bit, and send the speedo way off. It's going to be more effort driving the car and if you use it everyday I'd go with 15s, unless your hardcore about showboating.

The morette headlight conv. looks great, but if you get a badboy bonnet as well you'll lose the whole inner fullbeams and it'll look slightly weird. However there's lots of people who've done it and managed to pull it off. I think it was Vibrio or someone who said the best thing is just to get a slightly less extreme badboy so you can still see and don't get pulled so much.

One thing, don't get a combat kit, might be fairly cheap but do you really want to try and make you precious beautiful punto start looking like a crappy corsa??

THe combat kit is a corsa kit, always will be, please I beg you, reconsider.

Also, in my opinion, if you get any 17's 5 spoke then you can't really go wrong with a punto, as for tyres, well, yea they will be expensive.

Invest in a tyre machine thing that puts tyres on wheels and visa versa, then just "borrow" tyres off other cars for about 10,000 miles.

I've been looking at the kits too nd decided on the combat, for the same reason, everyone round here got the extreme nd the beast nd i wanted to be different. But at the mo thats on hold cos doing other stuff to the car.

If your thinking about the combat kit why dont you go for the combat bonnet witht he F50 vent? Looks class [8D]

For what it's worth I agree with you about the Combat. Punto is about euro-looks which is why I'll be sticking with cadamuro/abarth on the future mk2.

Hello again every1 Back at work,ggrrr! There isnt much choice to pick from really is there..i agree about the combat kit, i want my car to look more 'evil' as well, bit hard with it being bright yellow though i guess! I'll have a think bout wot there is, so i spend my pennys wisely Wheres the best place to get sum alloys from? pref in a package xx

try either www.wheelbase.co.uk or www.edworthys.co.uk, i am in the middle of doing mock pictures with many different alloys on my punto so if you want to hold up a few days before you buy any you can see the pics and see what you like.
