ok, been thinking about front bumper, the black ones depress me every time i look at them! lol, so im thinking smoothing out the bump strip indents, cutting out the widemouth grill on the selecta bumper and fitting black mesh with one of these fitted- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Cold-Air-Feed...062245220QQcategoryZ36680QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and also looking for gt washer jets (unlikely, there very sought after lol), and putting black mesh in the grill bits above the fog lights and also on the top grill bit.

so what you think on that then?

you wouldn't want oral anything from our french teacher, she was a proper hoss, even had the teeth for it [shudders]

seriously beau (if not banned already) save money for passing your test YOU WILL NEED IT, driving a car costs about 3times as much as the actual fuel your using costs, so say a punto costs 10p per mile in fuel ( on a good day), then it will actually cost you about 30p a mile to run, not to add insurance to the equation (which by the time your driving will cost so much you'd wish you had a bus pass).

 yeah i like the idea u got :) lets have some pics when ya can look spend the money while u have it! soon ull have no money but a nice looking car! yeahhhhhhhhhh lol i need a front bumper :( LAME! i have a gt back bumper just need front now :( let me know how that intake pipe works does sound like a good idea!!! :D

Hey beau, your plan sounds suspiciously like what i said i was going to do, on a few different threads :p

I have to echo everyone else and say you should just save for your car, otherwise you will be very annoyed. Your sis's car is a 5dr selecta, that wont look very good with colour coded bumpers (i mean it wont make much difference)

Beaumont. Why don't you buy a rusty Punto (well technically not as their galvanised) and do that up - then you can drive it when you pass your test. Or how about your Uno?

You must have spent a fortune (£500+) on a car that isn't yours, you could have bought a cinq, punto, uno, tempra, and done that up. At least it would be yours.

The bumper idea sounds expensive,
Matt
