Hi,

I'd like to introduce myself, Im Daniel and recently bought an S-reg 1.2 punto 60SX for my first car .

Anyways, with me being on my Dad's insurance I let him use it to nip down to the shops seeing as my car was at the end of the drive.
So not long after my car came back looking a little worse for wear. Apparently he struggled getting it around a bend with no PAS.

There's a few pics attached, one showing my car, and one showing the damage.

So I have seen a few fog lights on ebay and I was wondering how long it would take to fit them, and if Im better off doing it rather than the garage.

Also, I was wondering whether there's any mods that I could do without making my car look like a Halford's ram-raider. I was thinking perhaps angel lights, CD player and speakers, and maybe alloys (I am a poor student so budget's tight). My car hasn't had anything changed.

Hi Dan and welcome to Fiat Forum. In answer to your question, fog lights are a piece of p*ss to fit and even easier if you get the bugger who broke it to pay for it and fit it as his pennance!!

yeah he was obviously going to quick and was caught out by the lack of pwoer steering i shouldknow has happend to me lol.

clear indicators and side repeaters are a must, and as you already have the coloured bumpers that job's already done for you. Fog lights are a piece of pish to fit, just 3 bolts and the wiring clip.

i too am a poor student!!! and a good cheap and easy mod for me was changing my wing mirrors! pick up some cheap for about 25 quid from : http://www.essexracing.co.uk
and whats more its really easy to put them on yourself. theres only 3 screws each side

I'd say wing mirrors were more of a "finishing touch" to be honest - not the first mod

I'd colour code the standards and then do the door handles/ boot handle

Just another question, with colour coding would I just go and get the paint mixed up at halfords and then do it myself, or what? is it easy? cheers

i had a broken one from the previous owner so i was forced to buy some new ones. went for the m3 style ones £25 quid for the pair and the baseplates came free.
