Hi all, i have very recently purchased a used punto 1.2 active, and i have noticed that under the boot carpet, under the rear seats, the two plates welded either side of the spare wheel cavity have a dappled burned effect on them. They do not appear botch jobs, and may be part of the manufacturing process, but i am worried that when all the other metal; appears 'clean', these two plates seem to have burn marks on them. Can anyone help. I will post pictures later if anyone would like to view them, thanks, Tom.

Hi again, the dappled plates i was talking about are actually under the rear seats, (see pics), and the weld plates by the spare tyre cavity don't look as bad, now i am worried.

Yeah, the ones by the spare tyre are like that. The ones under the seats though are of a more 'home made' type worryingly.

by the way Cinq, can you tell me how i get my photo's on here in large size like yours, thanks, Tom.

when you make a new post, there is an option to "manage attachments" below the text box. just add the image in there, rather than hosting externally, or you can put the pics in your gallery on here

if them pics are from a camera phone then they are probably that size anyway

EDIT: if you remove the "th_" from the image link then they work...
