does anyone know how to swap a fuel rail and inkectors on a mk2 1242cc 8valve punto??

ive had a look and on the end of the fuel rail is a valve thingy, similar to what you have on wheels on a car, but bigger. do you need to "pump" it up?

that will be a fuel rail pressure test valve. no need to pump it up
why are you changing the whole rail?

im not planning on changing whole rail...but was just curious. i have a whole rail and injectors that i got off ebay.

so anyone know how i go about changing injectors...step by step.

its never that tricky.usually a couple of bolts per injector plus maybe a few mounting bolts

Remember that they have torque settings and its wise to use them if you cant feel your way through tightening into aluminium, therefore you will need a torque wrench

is anyone going to explain how to remove and refit an injector rail or just remove and fit each injector?

ecause so far you have all been no help at all:-(

there is no "bolts" holding down the injectors...just two that hold the fuel rail down.

i just want to know exactly what to do...like what to do woth where the fuel goes into the fuel rail, do i unplug it.,..leave it in.....anything and everything.

dont be vague please.

:yeahthat: These sections are based on give and take, and even then you are not 'expected' to do either but at least you could be polite. I'm afraid without a picture i can do nothing, but with i could tell you how to do it probably.

But i really think you need to stop 'expecting'. Custard was good enough to post a starting help, as he himself does not know the exact procedure, and neither do I. I may be able t help and others will be more willing if you do not expect as much from people who are only trying to help and be grateful of any advise given from people who know their ****.
