Hi, ive got a punto 55 N reg and have had a cd player fitted in it for yonks now but its always skipping! i dont know whether theres an easy way around it since the car isnt really designed for a cd player. Ive tried stuffing foam and stuff around it but doesnt really make a difference any ideas? cheerz.

Hi, is your CD player fitted into the dash is it a front loading system or changer?
If its fitted into the dash there is a simple fix. Remove the stereo and have a look at the back, there should be ahold for a screw, you need to go to a car shop and buy a long screw there are special ones for stereos and it will have a rubber on the end, this slides into a hold at the back of the dash which holds the system stable and stops it from skipping.
