How do you get a gearknob off a mk1 punto ive tried everything ye all siad but it still wont come off! help

Obviously you didnt do everything we said as you asked this two weeks ago.

hope this guide helps you for some of it. Remember this guide is for a lift up reverse gerknob and not sure if the 55s is lift up reverse, but it gives you an idea of what to do

Sorry to butt in but ive been in and had loads of mk1 Puntos and not one of em has had a lift up reverse gear knob. So have i just been lucky or am i right about mk1,s?

nope, the mk1 punto's as far as I know have not got lift up reverse... you push the whole gearstick down toward the floor to engage reverse...

Go mad with junior hacksaw,have a big hammer,a screwdriver,a bacon bun with red sauce,can of pop,some plasters for fingers,and a bag of frozen peas,take the lot to the car for an hour,and then you should come away happy!,

The middle pic is 30mm cut off the shaft,but it wasnt enough so over the weekend i cut another 50mm off!,its well short now and well better!!!!,will put pics on soon!,need bleeding batteries for cam again!!!!

they are lasting 3mins a go!!!!
