Hey I have a Mk1 punto 98 s60 and wash just wondering how easy it would be to fit front fog lights? has any1 done this?

I have done exactly that, and fitted the standard front fogs - you just need to cut out the hoes where they are marked - a stanley knife gets through the plastic easily enough, and there are 2 holes in the bumper behind the fog hole. you need to drill/ cut a hole in the middle part of the vent above the fog hole. This is already marked at the back so you know where to drill.

Some cars, like mine already had the wiring behind, but I'm not sure where in the car it goes, so I cut off the wiring connectors and linked them onto a halfords "fast fit wiring kit"

remember by law they should be linked to sidelights so they go off when you put main beam on. Also useful so you don't leave them on when you leave the car... I've done this - twice - as I wired them to a switch connected to the battery

How did that kit work? I just got an abarth front skirt and fogs off tony on abs and i havent the "foggiest" how to wire the fogs, the bulb has only one terminal coming out of it so i dont know what way to hook or solder it up?these are a set of micro-lite fogs like halfords have but were the punto fogs the same?

Cheers, This might sound a stupid question but if i am getting the lights from the scrapies wot do need appart from the lights themselves? Do i need to take a switch or something from inside the car?

I took the switches but couldn't get them to work so now have a separate switch in the dash for them...

the only other things u'll need are the fixing screws and get some of the wiring from the back of the light (depending on year either blue or purple and Black)

Cool cheers how much you reckon a scrapie will charge for the 2 fog lights and the wiring and bolts?

wiring and bolts - pocket job (just not the same pocket as wallet...)

Fogs - round here they're roughly £15-20 a side.
