Some bastard broke into my car and broke off my washer arm.
How do i replace it?

i was asuming as its inside the car its wiper stalk!


remove steering wheel, remover the top and bottom covers, un plug all wires, 4 plugs iirc, undo 1 hexbolt (alen) ring at back of unit, then slide it off

It's the stem on the right of the steering column to switch the washers on.
Similar to the indicator stalk.

Haynes say's "Using an allen key, slacken the clamp ring at the rear of the switch unit"

Hello, i have just come accross this great forum which seems the only place i have found someone with the same problem as me. I have just broke my indicator arm on my MK1 Punto, its totally snapped off and I am just wondering how to get to take the steering wheel off to get to it and have a look at it. Do i need to take the horn casing off or is their another way to remove the wheel?
