Could anyone tell me the best way of cleanin me pipercross air filter?[?] One of my mates told me dippin it in a bucket wiv fairy liquid and water does it a treat or am i better going and buying the proper cleaner?

Assuming its a foam filter you can clean it with hot water. This will remove the dirt. Fairy will break down grase and oil but as these shouldn't be present in the filter I wouldn't use something as harsh as that.

Read the instructions as some filters need to be oiled after cleaning.
