There was the City steering, that was on when I bought the car. I thought "damn, this steering is really light" and it wasn't until I was halfway down the motorway that I saw the button

yeah i know about that one allready!!!

thanks

rich

get the mk2.5 active sport 1.2 8v , be the same as the active but look nicer

the thing i found out when i got the car was 'follow me home' headlights

I was going to say that :) and the fact that you don't have to get out of the seat to pump it up and down like you do in the mk1 Punto :p

i never had any experience of a height adjustable seat in any of my previous cars so spent the first few days pumping myself up and down with the seat

the trip computer was another cool thing i found, i thought i had broke the car when it displayed ------ , i looked in the owners manual and realised it was the trip mpg and cause i stopped it was nothing

i also dont know where i would be without remote central locking now, it's the best thing i have ever used and yes i am easily pleased.......

I never had to get out of the seat to pump it up and down on my mk1 Punto. You must've had one with a dodgy pump! or you must weigh something like 20 stone :p

LOL , the lever thingie in the mk1 Punto I had kept snapping off so I had to get out of the car to do it. I only had the car for two weeks though.

Yes gaz I'm with you on the RCL thing and I did the seat pumping aswell  .

Plus when the trip computer reads '----' it's when your petrol light is on aswell is it not? My MPG reads when I am sat at lights etc - does yours not?

LOL, mine displays '----' when I'm running out of petrol and the petrol light is on. The only time you may need to know how many miles are left and it displays those helpful lines '----' :shakehead:

i drove my brothers mk2.5 active sport back home today (110miles or so). tbh the engine (1242 16v) didn't feel very responsive or powerful (for the car). Am i right in thinking the newer ones have 1368 16v's in there instead? I'd be looking more toward one of them

Yea 1.4 16v's are in the Sportings, but then you get higher insurance and petrol costs etc. Cracking engine though, + it comes with a 6 speed box.

My instant mpg thing reads '----' when I'm stationary too.

i was told a 16v mk2.5 acive sport is very rare now, they only do 8v now

i didnt believe my luck when i found mine :D

ime the 16v engine dont really do much in the low revs, but 3000+ then it does me fine, a re-map would help low rev range i imagine

there is def more up over 3k, i noticed that as well. what really got on my tits though was that the accelerator pedal doesn't seem to be connected to anything. fly by wire and there is a delay in it doing anything. slight movements were ignored, and then revs changed in massive jumps. is that how modern fiats work
