My 2002 punto has its airbags lights on most of the time. They will go off from one time and another but not for long.

I took it to a dealer and they ficed it for a few days but it came back.

Anyone else seen this or know how to fix it?

Can I just unplug them? or remove a fuse? They are bugging me now.

sounds like that they just reset it without reading fault code to see what was wrong, is both main and pasenger light coming on or just 1?

done a bit of searching and going to look at the wires under both seats and loom behind glove box.

Arre the wires clearly visible down their?

i cant see no wires under my seat, some times the plug on the pasenger airbag switch dont stay in right, you need to cable tie it in

No wires under seats.

Take back to dealer & insist the DET(or suitably approved technician)repairs the wiring as service bulletin issued to all dealers.This involves modification of the airbag terminals(this must be done before the loom is rerouted & secured as Dave mentioned)please dont try this at home!
