My car was find today, then tonight, started feeling funny, then started badly misfiring. Bein told one of the 2 coil packs are on the way out, or the pair are . How do i check each coil pack to see if there working ??? Its had new leads and leads about 3 months ago, and has ran find until today. Its a mk1 98 1.2 16v sporting ??? please can anybody help ??

i woudl just take a spark plug out one by one and touch it aginst the block, holding the plastic shroud and watch for a spark putting them back in one after the other. Coil packs are a fairly common problem on mk1 puntos if i remember correctly

when i hold the revs too about 2000 rpm the revs start boucing like i keep press the acelerator up and down ???? could that be something to do with coil pack , the voltage or something ???
