Hi all,
I have been keeping an eye out on eBay for the higher-spec instrument panel for our 1.9DS Punto (so I can keep an eye on the coolant temperature, mostly!
). I seem to have found a suitable one now, which came from a 1.9JTD ELX (so it will have the glowplug lights, correct scale on rev counter etc) but the seller is stating that the odometer is currently at 999,999 miles. (I imagine that this was done by them? I messaged the seller but haven't heard back yet)
My question is, by moving the car by one more mile with the odometer fitted, will the internal (from the instrument panel) mileage go back to 0 miles, and I can then do the proxy alignment against my car's ECU with multiecuscan? Or does it not work like that?
