Hi I am new member, I join this forum because I couldn't find any info of HGT tyre size. I have upgrade a bigger front disc and caliper from HGT 1.8 to on my 1.9JTD 86BHP which it need minimum of 15" alloy. The space saver tyre is 14" so I am try to find the details of steel wheel and tyre size.
My current space saver wheel is

14" PCD98mm ET43 with 135/80

So what size required on 15" steel wheel and tyre size?

135/70 correct? Used same ET43? or less

Anyone got HGT? so rare to find one online scrap parts. Could you please check what size is?

thanks

glad you worked it out, I was just checking my car tire pressure (fiat HGT) and noticed the tire was from the year 2000 so it's 20 years old. checked at the local tire shop they said not to replace it as replacements are hard to find.. Weird but okay I actually am thinking of taking out the tire and jack and just put a bottle of emergency foam car to repair the tire until I get to a tire shop

I can't believe any tyre shop would say a 20 year old tyre is safe to drive on ?
That wants changing asap as it's liable to fail

yea but I guess he said that because its space-saver tire and those are probably hard to get. It looks brand new it's just the original one that came with the car.

You know, I've used this foam tire repair kit once, and it barely put any pressure in the tire, I don't know how good of a replacement is that for a spare tire. So I guess I'll drop the idea of taking out the spare to save weight haha
