Technical Does a MK2a hatch fit a MK2b

Only asking cos I've seen this MK2B on Autotrader with a MK2a hatch:

That just looks like a normal mk2b 5door not sure why you think it’s a mk2a hatch ?

It fits. 5 door to 5 door, 3 door to 3 door.
But that's a regular mk2b hatch on a regular mk2b on that picture.
