Good afternoon, all.

I'm new to this forum and to Fiat ownership. I have a faithful, reliable 54 plate Punto which had one (not quite so) careful previous owner who seemed to have a habit of removing trim left, right and centre and not replacing it properly.

I'm missing two interior (torque head) screws - one which secures the nearside door handle (one of the three) and one which secures the left-hand trim of the driver's seat (the one which goes around the back adjuster to cover the rail).

I've looked EVERYWHERE for suitable screws but I've failed miserably.

Any idea where I can find suitable screws to that I can finally secure all of the bits he removed and badly replaced for no apparent reason?!

Many, many thanks in advance.

Chris.

local scrap yard would normally be the place to go but not really an option at the moment.

You can order them direct from fiat, they are usually more expensive than you would think, maybe cost you a couple of quid for what you want, which is a lot for a couple of screws but as least you're not missing loads of screws.

Finally you could find someone on ebay, facebook market place or similar who is breaking a car and ask them to post you the screws for a few pence and P&P on paypal.

There are plenty of ways you can resolve this without too much hassle

Thanks Andy. I’ll try the Fiat route.

You’re a star.

Chris.
