Hi guys,

I've got an OBD reader on order, nowt fancy, one of these:

[ame="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007XE8C74"]Autel AutoLink AL319 Universal OBD2 Reader Car Diagnostic Scanner Tool Vehicle Engine Fault Code Reader: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike@@AMEPARAM@@https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41oK1TMhBDL.@@AMEPARAM@@41oK1TMhBDL[/ame]

It's because I've got an ABS light up on the dash, no other lights and everything is working OK. I'm guessing (hoping) it's a wheel sensor at fault. Will the reader show the specific sensor at fault or will it just show there is a sensor failed?

Thanks, also is there anything else I can check in the mean time, the brakes are working just fine and dandy, zero issues (apart from the light of course!)

Hmmm, just been reading up on OBD scanners and it looks like the biudget friendly ones do not show ABS codes!

So, after further reading and investigating it does indeed look like the basic readers do not output Airbag or ABS codes.
This looks to be the cheapest one out there that does ABS and SRS:

It says ENGINE CODE READER.. ;)

You want MultiECUScan

Where are you based ?

There is a register of members on here prepared to help out..

After so long on here.. I thought you would be aware of some of this :)

I'm in Kent, right near the Channel Tunnel entrance, flippin' miles away from anyone!
I've got to get a new clutch fitted soon so I'll call my local garage up and see if they can run a scan for m, they're pretty good for doing little jobs for nothing if they're doing a big job.
