So...

My heater core had a leak, and I ended up replacing it.
I got the reference from eper: 46722928
Ordered a new replacement online. But now I am noticing something weird, the pipes don't seem to fit the new heater core, because the new heater core inlet and oulet are at an angle.

The whole thing is made of aluminum, should I return it? Or can I force it into place.
It seems weird defect, bot inlet and outlet have the same angle.

I have attached pictures, you can see the old one fits perfectly, but the new one from Magneti Marelli doesn't.

By the way, the reference for the heating core from marelli I ordered is: 350218065000

No, I can't reverse it. I mean, I could, but then there's no chance of the pipes lining up with the inlet and outlet and all.

The last 2 pictures in my post show the old one, which is a perfect fit.
I don't know if this new one came bent at that angle, or the old one got bent, or if I am supposed to force it in and bend it, but that sound unlikely.

It looks completely wrong. I am sorry I did not notice there was no way of reversing it - seemed (to me) like a good idea at the time .
