i have been wondering, (like always!) if the extra rear light reflector bits on the mk2.5 would fit onto the mk2?? anyone know? because id love a mk2 but with them style of lights.

You would probably need a Mk2b boot which would most likely be a straight swap, if those lights are reflectors and not actual lights like you said in the other thread.

they are reflectors, tis about time one of the mk2b people modded some leds in them though, instead of playing about buying cinqs

Why??!! :bang: Those reflectors look daft. Mk2's bum is nice and smooth and should be kept that way

i agree the lights on the "kia look alike punto" (aka mk2.5) are pants

the mk2.5 lights are so nice! LOOKS LOVELY!!

Yeah actually you're partly right- the main lights are better because they have no orange in them. But the other bit looks like a nasty add on reflector you buy for 3 quid at motorworld

(Not wanting to offend mk2b owners btw Its just the mk2 doesnt need it!)

oi cinq is my playtime car now

the mk2b reflectors are recessed into the bootlid by the looks of it, not really a problem if you sticking them into a mk2 boot though

easier way is to swap bootlids over but watch the paint shades as they changed between the mk2 and 2b
