hi there just watched to check if anyone knows for certain that the rear lights on teh punto mk2 can be changed for mk3 rear lights straight swap, 3 door version. i know you cant have the lil bits on the new boot. but i just want the light clusters as i like the clear indicators on em as oppose to the orange on the mk2. i assume it is a straight swap but just wondering if fiat ahe doen sumthing so you cant lol

the mk3 is not actually a mk3, its a mk2 facelift, the mk3 is due out, an don't quote me, early next year. anyway, the size of the facelift is slightly different but i don't know if lights are the same. why not try some of the newly released lexus style lights form ULTRA or Autotint design or go to www.puntomk2.co.uk an click the link for Formula 2 an see wot they have to offer.

they must be the same! if the body panels around it are still the same, it should fit. they'd hardly go designing it completely different and have it looking the same (this makes sense in my head...)

the dimensions are slightly larger on the facelift version, i believe its the width. i may be wrong as it was a fiat sales person who told me this and i find fiat to be really bad, they couldn't even get me the right manifold gaskets for my sporting![}:)]

they'd hardly change the bodyshell or rear glass would they?

like i sed before, i'm going on wot fiat told me, i may be wrong. i bow down if i am. i heard that fiat and vauxhall are teaming up to do a mk3 punto next year based on the corsa chassis with one of the cars being a 1.6 turbo, wouldn't that be fun, (apart from the corsa bit)!!![}:)]

I'm sure it will fit!!

I'm a member of the PuntoSportivo Club in Holland and at least 5 members have them fitted on their cars.
