Hi guys, i have a punto mk2b sporting 2004 with air-contition. It has the manual climate control as below. I want to ask if it is possible to change it with the automatic climate control (dualzone) that some version have?

My car has compressor for A/C. I know that i need a new central plastic cover and maybe a proxy alignment for the new module to work. I saw some cable plugs behind the central cover in the air. Are there for the auto climate control maybe?

What else i need to change for the auto climate to work?

Thanks in advance!

You’ll need to remove the whole dash and replace the whole heater unit, which means disconnecting the engine coolant and aircon pipes, so the aircon system would need evacuation and recharging, then you’ll need a completely new wiring loom for the dash, the fan that cools the interior is different and the resistor is replaced with an electronic module.

Nothing is impossible but what you’re asking is formidably complex and would be massively expensive.

Understood.. I thought maybe it was just about changing the control module and some sensors. If it needs so much work time and cost it's not worth..
