Dear PuNtO's heads ,
now i'm on a new challenge with my 1.2 8v ,
i did some few repairs a few days a go ,
new spark plugs ,
new fuel pump
cleaned my air filter
plugged in my knock sensor which was not plugged but i had to remove the inlet manifold to reach .
changed oil and oil filter ..
but after ,
the car started to loose coolant and a white smoke started to come out from exhaust ,
is it has something to do with any of i did , or its just dum coincidence that my head gasket wear out and need a replacement .
thank you and best regards

Does your 1.2 8V have a water cooled oilcooler under the oil filter?
Not unknown for one of those to fail during an oil change

Quick fix is to bypass it with a coupler between the hoses and a hose between the stubs on the oil cooler.
This cooler might only be fitted in warmer climates.

no i don't have an oil cooler

i have another issue i forgot to mention ,
the rpm is getting high when i clutch ,
it keeps revving between 10 -20 rpm until i lift the pedal off , it gets back to normal .

i found a dead injector and i replace it with an mpi old one ,
the other 3 are a spi .
i was told it doesn't make any difference
does it have something to do with the revving

on my 16V car the inlet manifold and the coolant/water hose connection going to the heater are connected together and held by the same bolt. I am supposing it must be possible to damage the gaskets so water flows into the engine from the inlet manifold.

However it looks like the 8V car has a totally different inlet manifold.

If you can pressurise the cooling system with air or with water you should be able to work out where you are losing water.

Its not an external leak my friend. Its more like a gasket failure -internal -. Except i hope its not the gaskets and maybe something else easier cuz I'm brook these days -as always usually -.so im open to suggestions. If anyone have any.
Im suspecting a bad oil filter cuz the smoke is more to bluish.
