Ok so my "friend" kindly had his non starting Punto MK2 (55) plate 1.2 8v recovered to my driveway, it would crank but no start, I checked and it had mysteriously jumped it's timing so I assumed it was "dead dead" as the pistons would have smashed the valves apart, a quick Google later and I find out this is a non interference engine and all was good, I replace the timing belt and tensioner with a new one, line the timing up and boom starts perfectly on the key, the only problem now is once the coolant is close to 90° (problem starts around 70-80°) it seems to idle so low that it just conks out (excuse the technical term) the idle is around 750-740 when it stalls (read on a snap on reader)

The snap on reader seems to suggest all sensors etc are working ok as the values seem consistent and what you would expect to see, idle goes from around 1050 when cold and you see the coolant temp rising and idle goes down and down until it cuts out.
I have two fault codes showing now
p0505 - the IAC - I have replaced and recalibrated the throttle body and this error is still present
P0135 - pre cat lambda - I have replaced this sensor and the error is also still present.
I have changed the crank and cam sensors from a working Punto just to check. I replaced sparks, HT leads filters and did a service about 3 months before it died so these parts are all in good order and when it is running it runs very sweet. Any ideas? I'm thinking possibly the PCM, however once it conks out it restarts and runs well (besides the idle) so I'm a bit stuck.
Guys any help with this would be fantastic as the sooner I can get this thing off of my driveway the sooner my missus will stop harassing me to do just that!

Ok so here's an update, I've replaced the ECU with an eBay special (it ran kind of worse but it still did the same thing of cutting out when warm) I've replaced the loom as maybe wiring was the issue, same issue is present, both coil packs have been replaced, no change.
I'm lost what is causing this? It ticks over really well it just conks out at low idle....
Any ideas truly welcome as I'm clean out of my own at this point. I have ordered another second hand throttle body as I have assumed that it's possible the one I ordered had the same problem as the one I had....

Also since loom change the only code present is p0505 the lambda sensor code has gone

Update, disconnected alternator wiring and now it doesn't stall and no codes.... Any ideas? Faulty alternator? Battery? Voltage regulator?
