Hi Guys, after spending hours looking for a similar problem to mine, i have decided to just post it.
When i move my gear lever form second gear "forward" it stays to the left, and i have to literally "pull" it in to neutral All the gears are working fine, and it doesn't stick in any gear. I've noticed it is gradually getting worse, but seems a lot looser after car warms up The same problem occurs when in neutral, eg. moving lever from side to side, it sticks to the left.
The fact that it it getting worse suggests its a problem i need sorting :bang:

Remove cables from gear box end and check they are free.then .........On top of the gear box,where the cables go,try to move the linkage from side to side and push/pull linkage in and out of gear box(will only move in/out when in neutral) in/out is left/right on gear lever .

Turned out to be cable sticking, new cables smooth as you like
