Simple one this! I've developed a 4 pot brake kit for the Uno Turbo (after mine tried to kill me for the 100th time :bang: ), and I want to know if it will fit the Punto - mainly the Turbo version. (the first kit is already sold but piccies are here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8013289586 :D )

What I need to know is if there is any variation in the Punto struts before I buy one? It appears there are several models/chassis as defined by 55, 60, 75, 80, 95, 130 etc, are there major differences in the hubs/struts themselves (I've not got one to "get to know"! )?

To make the kits cheaper to maintain the disc used is the Fiat Stilo 284mm, 24mm thick, 44mm "high" one (as used in the Coupe 2.0 16v Turbo, the Brava/o 2.0i 20v HGT and the Lancia Delta HF Turbo Intergrale!!!). Std Punto discs all appear to be 40mm or 41mm high, so we're 3-4mm closer to those annoying balljoints....

What other Fiat DISCS have people fitted to Puntos?

Cheers guys!

welcome to here. :)

ahh i see why you wanted the bits now :) the 60 an 75 have difrent size disks an calipers but i think whats behind them is all the same, the mk1 punto turbo has vented disks and i know a few people have put them on non turbo puntos.
people are going to need bigger wheels to fit over the brakes though?

when they are done you can use our classified section to sell them its free :)
