And boy am I impressed!

You can't get me out of it! If I could have written this post from within it, I would! My girlfriend reckons I have spent more time in it in 3 days than i have with her in a year! and if it stays like that al be single by christmas (could be a good thing right enough - money for her pressies could fund my zorst!)

Its just sooooo sexy, turns heads everywhere i go and the performance from a 1.2 lump is pretty damn unbelievable!

I could go on and on and on about how much i have fallen in love with my new baby, but I need to ask a few questions on small problems.

I dont know if they are problems - i think I am just looking for some as everything about the car is just so damn good!

Firstly - Condensation in one of the headlamps. I brought it up with the salesman as one of the headlamps had condensation in it ( and still has 3 days later). He says its not a problem, i have noticed it on other cars and also my sisters punto - but i dont want any problems regarding water in electrics.

Second - for all you doctors and nurses out there (nurses preferably;) ) i seem to be getting a slight sore back right at the base of my spine when driving it. I have tried every seating arrangement possible - some work better than others, but i still get small pain. Is this just me getting used to a new driving position as i have drove the same car for 4 years? Or to do with hard suspension? Anyone else had this problem? (I do sit for 12 hours a day at a computer at work 4 days a week, but up until I had the car, i wasnt getting any problems)

Thirdly - at night I am s**tting myself driving on dark road as the headlamp beams are dangerously low. I can only see maybe 25 - 30 feet in front. Tried moving them up with the electronic lamp height adjuster - but still seem very low. The car has been lowered, and was fully services etc when it left the garage, but I am defo not happy with the height the are at. Can these be moved manually or am i best taking it back to the garage who sold me it and gettin them to do it?

Apart from these small problems - I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

Pics will follow as soon as I get a hold of a digi camera.

Mulge man.

As for your headlamps, there is a modification kit you can buy from your Fiat dealer. It's the back panels of the headlight that you take off to gain access to the bulbs. These kits are about £17 incl VAT, and have vents and a small hose tube on the back to allow better ventilation. When i get back to work I'll sort some part numbers for you.

regards
Paul

Current Fiat fleet:
'00 Punto Sporting (broom yellow) - '02 Punto Sporting (sprint blue) - '94 Tipo 1.4 ie S

headlamps must be set at certain level to be legal....
Secondley if you have just got it, get the dealer to fit the modified h/l covers, as this is a prone fault i think and not easy to do if got foglamps.
