Hey everyone,
As above- my starter motor on my 16v sporting mk2 has gone. Looks like most of the local ones are from 8v models. They do look similar but I presume they might be from different gearboxes as mine is a 6 speed manual. Would they still fit?

1. Here in Finland the same starter motor part number is fitting a variety of puntos from year 2000 with 8V or 16V. There are though other part numbers for some 8V puntos.
