Hi! I decided to make a new thread for my supercharging attemp. The engine is from mk2b (2004), not original mk2. The plan is to keep the engine stock but keep the already installed performance parts, no reinforcements :)

I tried to find supercharged Punto mk2 but maybe there isn't one yet? There was several turboed Puntos so I ditched that idea straight away :D

Tuning parts:
DIY induction kit
Bored 40mm throttle body
Colombo & Bariani Fast Road Max performance camshaft
John Ashley performance 4-2-1 exhaust manifold (decat)
Supersprint catback
Fiat Punto HGT fuel pump

Part list:
Aisin AMR500 Supercharger 500cc per revolution (From Nissan)
2" Boost pipe & hose kit
Greddy RS type dump (blow off valve)
Intercooler (Biltema)
Injectors IWP049 184cc/min (too small, testing IWP127 231cc/min next)
Ecumaster DET3 piggyback
PLX DM-6 Gen 4 wideband lambda gauge
Dragon Gauge analog boost meter

Hope you find this interesting, I will keep the thread updated.

Installed Ford KA turbo injectors and I have to say, this thing is fast :D
0-60mph in 10 seconds on first try and with all the extra weight inside.

Still have problems with the dump. Ordered bigger one, 29mm vs 50mm. Should be sufficient.

Very interesting sound!

I see from nettiauto.fi a standard 1.2 16v punto can do 100km per hour in 11 seconds. your car does 96km per hour in 10 seconds. Seems like you need to make it go faster? :)

It's much faster than 1.2 16v already, in fact this was same fast before supercharger. Should be near 8s when I remove almost 400 kilograms of audio stuff (no shows in winter). If I can get rid of unnecessary wheel spin :D

I need adjustable fuel pressure regulator with boost but the fuel system is returnless. I may have to add return line, can't see another way to do it.

I can see you in a few weeks time doing videos with a car load of giggling women with breasts and hair indicating some awesome G - forces. (y)

How did you manage to get that dashboard on a 8v? As far as I know they don't come with the "rpm-meter".

Great Punto btw!

It was standard with some trim levels. My 8v has one with rpm(not sure what trim level was originaly, no passanger air bag or fog light, it has grey interior)

Oh, ok didn't know that. You think that fitting that kind of dashboard on a 8v that doesn't have it would be just "plug-and-play"?

So what's the story with the pulley setup? All custom or bits and pieces from other sources?

Nothing special, ac compressor removed and made a bracket for supercharger. Original tensioner with longer belt. Had to add one idler pulley, it's from Volvo V40 :)

What sort of PSI is it making? Any power figures yet? [emoji57]
