I want to change the spark plugs on my mothers ‘06 Fiat Punto MK2b (8v, 188A4000). I’ve read this in the FAQ:
PUNTO 2 (10/99-->06/03) 1.2 188A4.000 / 8 VALVE 60bhp 10/99 –> 06/03 BKR5EZ 7642 0.8mm

Is it true that I’ll buy the correct spark plugs if I buy this: NGK BKR5EZ with outer diameter of 14mm?

Thanks in advance!

2 types of plugs fitted in these depending where built and spec
be aware if they have the thinner plug fitted usually also aircon fitted that the plug 3rd on right as you look at the block has a propensity to shear if been in a long time
be careful:)
i refuse to work on these now from customers past i havent seen in 3 years and want a bit of a service

I've just replaced a set of BKR5EZ in our 01 1.2 8V.
Remove an easy one, by the dipstick, and see what is in there.
It could be an NGK or an equivalent from another manufacturer or someone could have put in the wrong type.
With one plug out you will know what size is needed.
It can be easier to get one out if the motor is hot.

I have a set of those in my garage you can have for the cost of postage, or if you're near the RG24 postcode you can collet them for nothing. Give me a message.

Always worth checking where someone is posting from, the OP is in the Netherlands so postage might be more costly than a set of plugs, probably not worth popping over to pick them up. :D

Still Kudos for the offer ! (y)
